As most of you know, on December 21, 2017, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services approved a five year renewal of Texas’ Medicaid 1115 Waiver. This renewal will allow the state to continue expanding managed care to Medicaid clients while also preserving supplemental payments to hospitals and other critical Medicaid providers. Specifically, this action authorizes four more years of federal match funding for the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program. Regional Healthcare Partnerships (RHPs) across the state are working to submit RHP Plan Updates to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission by April 30, 2018. These Plan Updates detail how eligible DSRIP providers will earn the incentive funds.
RHP 12, which includes 47 counties, will host a Regional Meeting & Stakeholder Forum on Friday, March 23, 2018. The purpose of this meeting is to present our updated regional community needs assessment (view here) and provide updates on our Updated Regional Healthcare Partnership plan. Opportunity for feedback on these two items will be available at the event and also on line when our final Plan is posted. After these two topics are discussed, we will have stations set up for providers to receive technical assistance/guidance to finalize completion of their provider template, if needed. All stakeholders are invited to attend.
This meeting will take place in the McInturff Conference Center in Lubbock, Texas. Please register below if you plan on attending.
